KVO School Partnership Coordinator
90-Day Independent Contract • Approximately 20-30 Hours Per Month • Potential to Transition into a Permanent Part-Time Position
Bartlesville Cultural Center is seeking a community-minded individual to help launch and expand Kids Voting Oklahoma throughout the City of Bartlesville.
Working alongside the Executive Director, the KVO School Partnership Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between Kids Voting Oklahoma and local schools, helping build the partnerships necessary to successfully introduce the program into classrooms across the community.
This position focuses on relationship building rather than classroom instruction. The successful candidate will connect with school administrators, teachers, counselors, retired educators, civic organizations, business leaders, and community volunteers to establish a strong network of support for this exciting new initiative.

Build relationships with Bartlesville Public Schools and other local educational partners.
Meet with principals, teachers, counselors, and school staff to introduce Kids Voting Oklahoma.
Recruit schools interested in participating in the initiative.
Develop partnerships with civic, nonprofit, business, and community leaders.
Recruit volunteers to support school and community activities.
Coordinate presentations, informational meetings, and outreach efforts.
Assist with partnership development, scheduling, and follow-up communication.
Work closely with the Executive Director to support the successful implementation and expansion of Kids Voting Oklahoma throughout Bartlesville.
Ideal Candidate
Preferred backgrounds include:
- Retired teacher
- Retired paraprofessional
- Former school administrator
- School counselor
- Education professional
- Community advocate
- Civic leader
- Someone with experience working in or alongside public schools
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and believes in investing in the next generation.
Kids Voting Oklahoma is a new statewide initiative. Training and program resources will be provided.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable meeting with educators and community and civic leaders
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Passion for civic education and youth leadership
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation for local meetings
SCHEDULE
Approximately 5–10 hours per week (20–30 hours per month)
Flexible schedule
Some daytime availability is preferred to accommodate meetings with schools and community organizations.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
This position begins as a 90-day independent contract.
The intent of this initial contract is to establish and expand Kids Voting Oklahoma throughout Bartlesville. Based on program growth, organizational needs, and mutual interest, the position may transition into a permanent part-time role.
COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
