Building a Future
Rooted in History

I was born in Bartlesville and raised on the Westside. This work is personal. I carry a deep pride in where I come from, and that pride fuels my commitment to this work.

Every time I drive through this corridor, I don’t just see what’s here today. I see the history, the families, and the vision that has been carried for generations.

West Bartlesville has never lacked vision. What it has lacked is alignment, structure, and sustained follow-through.

This is not a new idea.

This is the continuation of work that has already been started.

What is different now is the approach.

There is coordination. There is accountability. And there is a clear commitment to seeing this work through.

This work is grounded in years of community vision and strengthened by partnerships focused on long-term, place-based investment.

We are bringing residents, property owners, business owners, developers, and partners to the same table to move from planning into action together.

What We Are
Building Together

West Bartlesville is not starting over. This effort is about building on what has always been here — strong families, deep history, and a community that has remained rooted through change.

At the same time, the corridor is entering a new chapter — one shaped by intentional investment, community voice, and long-term vision.

As this work moves forward, the focus is clear:

  • Strengthening the corridor through small business development and entrepreneurship

  • Creating housing opportunities that support both current residents and future growth

  • Preserving land ownership while encouraging responsible development

  • Expanding cultural programming and shared spaces that bring people together

This is about creating a corridor that reflects both where West Bartlesville has been and where it is going.

Revitalization Begins with Listening

Real revitalization does not start with assumptions. It starts with people.

This effort is grounded in listening to the residents, property owners, business owners, developers, and community members connected to West Bartlesville.

Through surveys, conversations, and ongoing engagement, we are identifying what is working, what needs attention, and where opportunities exist.

This is not a one-time conversation. It is an ongoing process that ensures the future of West Bartlesville is shaped by the people connected to it.
